This hands-on ultrasound workshop will focus on providing the fundamental knowledge of MSK ultrasound to those just starting but also provide experiences for those advanced sonologists looking for help understanding the complex sonoanatomy of the skeletally immature athlete and those desiring to practice more advanced dynamic imaging techniques of the hip. This will be a combination of short instructional lectures and live demonstrations with an emphasis on time spent during the hands-on scanning sessions using real pediatric and adult models.

This add-on workshop takes place at 7:30am on Thursday, January 30th. Space is limited- please select this workshop when registering to secure your spot.

Keynote Speaker: Stephanie Kuzydym

We are excited to feature Stephanie Kuzydym as the keynote speaker at AM25! "Stephanie Kuzydym is a sports enterprise and investigative reporter for The Louisville Courier Journal, which is part of the USA TODAY Network. For the last decade, Kuzydym’s reporting largely focused on the health and safety of athletes. In “Safer Sidelines,” a four-part series based on several months of reporting, Kuzydym uncovered the many ways high schools, athletic associations and lawmakers have failed to prepare for the worst-case scenario – sudden death in sports. The project included a first-of-its-kind searchable database of U.S. athlete deaths, as well as a survey and expert assessment of athletic emergency action plans for Kentucky high schools."

Stephanie's session will begin at 9am on Friday, January 31st.
